Pastor Ellen Meissgeier began her ministry at Resurrection Lutheran Church in September 1994, after having served as associate pastor at Christ Lutheran in Kulpsville, PA.

A 1988 graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary of Philadelphia, she was awarded the Master of Divinity degree and was ordained August 5^th of that year.

In addition to serving congregations, Pastor Meissgeier has been an adjunct instructor at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, working with first year students in the area of worship. Pastor Meissgeier also serves as the Dean of the Lower Montgomery Conference of the SEPA Synod.

Prior to entering seminary, Pastor Meissgeier taught 7^{th and} 8^th grade at a Lutheran School (Our Savior) co-sponsored by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and Lutheran Church in America. At the time she was an active member of her home congregation, Zion Lutheran Church in Bristol, PA.
